Clarington · Based in Orono
A project in Newtonville may involve more than the room where you first noticed a problem. An addition, new appliance or detached garage can change what you need from the property’s electrical supply. WEISS Electric LTD works from Orono and includes Newtonville in its local service area. Send us the address and intended use of the space so the enquiry starts with the right scope.
Clarington identifies Newtonville in its rural-area map and recognises its historic area in the Official Plan. A community name does not tell us when a particular home was wired or how its outbuildings are supplied. Those details need to be checked for the property itself.
Before a renovation starts, list what will remain, what will move and what will be added. If work also reaches a garage or shed, note whether it already has power and how you want to use it. Planning those changes together helps avoid treating each new circuit as an unrelated job or overlooking future equipment while walls are open.
Include the civic address, which building needs attention and whether the work is a repair or a planned improvement. A simple sketch showing the house, other buildings and the proposed equipment is useful; it need not be a measured drawing. Mention any planned excavation, concrete work or interior finishing so the electrical work can be considered at the appropriate stage.
Model information is useful, but an early discussion can identify supply or installation questions before a purchase. Send the specification sheet if you already have a particular appliance, charger or workshop machine in mind.
No. We review the exact location, access, work involved and available scheduling first. Our base is Orono; there is no separate Newtonville office.
